SLAUGHTER! is a video game inspired by "Slasher" movies and awesome games from the 16-bit era... THE PERFECT COMBO FOR A SPOOKY GAME
Here you have to play as Slaughter Man. A murderous Psychopath who escaped from prison and ended up in SPOOKTOWN, now you must escape from the police and "have some fun with the people of the town" as a good psycho killer ;p

It's actually a bit small but fun, there's also some easter eggs that you would probably like to see
DESTROY THE TOWN!
Well i mean... you can't destroy a whole town right? BUT you can destroy some stuff (it's fun trust me)
KILL THEM ALL!
YES! you can do it but why would you do that? they have a family and kids are you a real psycho? JUST KIDDING! GO AND DO WHATEVER YOU WANT
ESCAPE FROM THE POLICE!
Just do it, It's not really fun when you get caught :(
HOW TO PLAY?
Ok I know this seems awesome and you REALLY want to play it BUT you have to learn some basic things to play
MOVEMENT: the keys (duh) and WASD
THROW YOUR SPOOKY AND AWESOME AXE: "Z" or "P"
OPTIONS/PAUSE: "Escape"
That's it now you are ready to go :D don't forget to leave a comment please, it would help us to improve this game, this is just a demo made in 1 week but we have some silly, goofy and AWESOME ideas for the future

For being the first version it's a pretty good game but there's many aspects to polish:
- The menu screen it's really blank, and it's not much pleasing for the first time playing, maybe you could add a representative image from the game or a better design to catch the player's attention.
- Add more options, make a section where you can see the credits, another one for controls, etc.
- Fix the cops mechanics, it would be great if you could also kill the cops and it gives you more points than it does when killing civilians, plus it's sort of easy to get busted by them.
Overall, the game design, the pixel art characters, the background and the music were good on my point of view.
Thanks for the support, for playing the game, and for the advice :D We considered the things that you said but due to the time restriction of the Scream Jam which is the main reason we created this game, we decided to give priority to other stuff. Anyway, we are more than enthusiastic to continue developing this game with more things to play with. Thanks again for the comment and for playing the game :D
Wow, I really appreciate it, we're going to be working on it, but since we only had a week to finish the game, some things like the cops or the main screen couldn't be polished on the release day.
